May is Oregon Wine Month so we're devoting an entire week to Gamay! There’s so much to discover about Gamay that all of it could not be contained in just two days. Join us for one, two or all of these events and take a deep dive into the joys of Gamay.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday May 13th, 2018 | 11am -1pm | 2pm - 4pm | $50
Join us at The Nightwood for a special Gamay education by our friends at Sunday School. Intimate and accessible, the class will introduce you to the full range of Gamay’s temperaments (from fun and flirty to buttoned-up seriousness).
You’ll taste examples — from both Oregon and the Old World — that show the wine's versatility and character.We’ll tell the story of Gamay’s spectacular rise, fall and rebirth, and you'll also discover why the grape is now gathering a cult of devout followers in the Willamette Valley and beyond. A full flight of Gamay plus delicious fare from The Nightwood included.
Gamay Tasting SALON
Sunday May 20th, 2018 | 3pm - 6pm |$35
Join us for the Oregon Gamay Tasting Salon at The Nightwood featuring over 20 wineries each pouring tastes of their latest Gamay Noir wines. Trail blazing Oregon wine producers have largely led the domestic growth of Gamay Noir and this will be and Oregon style celebration dedicated to the love of Gamay. Food available for purchase.

Gamay MASTER CLASS

A very special I Love Gamay wine education - celebration moderated by one of our favorite sommeliers, Joel Gunderson of Cooper’s Hall! Joel and a four-member panel will lead a technical Gamay tasting at Cooper’s Hall. Seating very limited.
Gamay dinner par-tay
Monday May 21st, 2018 | 7pm - 10pm | $90
Put on your party clothes and join us for a raucous Gamay Dinner Party. There will be a bounty of food prepared from our favorite local farms and wines will be curated by our friends at SE Wine Collective. There will be plenty of current Oregon Gamay, vintage French Beaujolais and Gamay Noir. Caveat: Location and chefs will be remain a secret. Announcements will me made a week out. Seating will be limited so snag your seats while you can!
